yea the problem is that many analog inputs (like the angle that makes only nana jump) are harder than anything a macro could do

2 Qs follow that point up: 1) Do you think this "obstacle" is a meaningful barrier in Melee 2) What about 3rd Party Contollers

third party controllers already ban turbos, and are in general so bad that it's been a non issue for the most part.

I definitely can respect the idea that Melee is the type of game where execution is a meaningful part of the gameplay. Duh.

But what if 3rd party controllers made some techs easier. What if the MadCatz GC Controller had more angles built in. Ban or no?

problem is that now people are more like "what hax thinks is needed is allowed" which is stupid.

So, just for clarity, are you primarily opposing a gap in the ruleset and the direction the community is taking in patching it?
