the problem with the B0XX is that it'll essentially make anyone whos serious about melee have to use a new $300+ modded gcc every six months

I'm not caught up on why every six months they'd need a new one, would it be new hardware that is released?
new tech, several different controllers for different chars AND matchups, and controllers generally break p quickly

Also switching arcade buttons is cheap and something anyone can learn easy. Upgrading all buttons would prob cost less than modded GCC too.

hitboxes dont undergoe the same wear and tear as a GC controller. And if something breaks a button is replacable.

honestly it's a better investment with a box considering you're just replacing buttons not a controller

Generally sanwa switches also last really long and have good durability. (I'd assume it'll prime state way longer than GCC)
