I think you have the boxx mistaken for the smashbox. hax said he doesn't plan to be able to do things the gcc can't.
i have talked to him a lot during summit and there are several things thats not reasonably practical on a gcc that b0xx can do

hax himself also agrees that gcc mods that are far more broken than the b0xx will need to be legal to legalize the b0xx

what I've seen is its expressiveness is a subset (proper or not) of standard gc controller expressiveness
