id honestly recommend most non shonen fanboys to just start watching at chimera ant arc and read summaries for earlier arcs + watch it at 2x

If all youre gonna do is read the subs (since the rest is ruined by speedup) why are you even watching the anime. read the mango
only thing "ruined" is audio, animations/color is still + over manga. its also easier to stop/start than switch between manga

Disagree heavily. The animation must be pretty bad to begin with to not be negatively affected by speedup
