I didn't play crews for several reasons (phone died - need to fix it, headache, switching hotel rooms, trying new controller etc) but -

I mean you had do have some idea they might ask you to do crews, event wasnt hidden. Could have said "no" a few weeks ago...
exactly, I was expecting that they would ask me to do it so I could say no. They never asked, just expected me to play.

Why do they need to ASK you for you to say no? Just outright say no like anybody else would've and avoid the confusion.

they need to ask because that's just common courtesy, you don't say yes for someone else
