Seeding based on the MIOM rank any more than a super general outline is absolutely moronic and I sincerely hope TOs stop it.

Right, but they can take liberties on it (and frequently do for large events). PPMD/Hax would be floated by them 100%
then they should state that, and since its inaccurate for who should be seeded where in jan 2017 it would only be an outline

Was there an official announcement? (I'm a little out of the loop). My guess is top 64 were based in order of MIOM rank

But everything beyond could be sorted by the stream monster brigade. If PPMD/Hax entered, I think they'd float them instead.
