The MIOM rank is not only inaccurate a lot of the time (see swedish) but it also counts tournaments in early 2016 as much as late 2016.
Seeding based on the MIOM rank any more than a super general outline is absolutely moronic and I sincerely hope TOs stop it.

Because the MIOM rankings takes the whole year in consideration. Seeding should be based on recent results.

M2k for example deserve at least 3rd seed and that's a huge difference to being seeded 4th in this case
