I'm conflicted in how I feel about heavy experimentation in friendlies w/ other top players Only 1 benefits The other player gets false data
if the other person is playing to win in friendlies then he is a lost cause anyway

What I'm saying is if both people are experimenting with 1 tactic, both people aren't getting accurate data on how to use it.

this is only the case if the tactic heavily influences the response to the others tactic, in that case take turns/run drills

of course sometimes you need to practice like you compete aka tryharding, but if that only helps short term improvement.

I think a courtesy "mind if I try something while we play?" goes a long way. Otherwise my time is being wasted w/ false data
