It's so easy to rank up in Overwatch now, you don't lose nearly as much points for a lost game compared to what you gain when you win

dude that has never changed, thats just you playing vs worse teams/having high hidden mmr. always been that way.

you def rank up easier now than in the previous seasons, have seen multiple GM's that were platinum/barely diamond last season

yes this is the bellcurve spreading out & people improving. nothing to do with what you said (lose less gain more)
