Watching the Smash scene uproar over button binds & digital/analog conversion is strange for a scene pushing so hard at being an Esport.

The FGC has had button binds became so normal that sticks & pads now have factory &/or game dedicated triple punch & triple kick buttons.
Melee has never had any digital input or custom controllers, the situation is wildly different

Digital input is agreeable, validity is discussable. Never any custom controllers might be a stretch with Kadano around.

Theres also the question of if 49-way digital is functionally different than other analog options.
