I agree, I don't think factory GCC is tournament viable anymore. Who uses one at the top top level?

I learned how to shield drop without it for years, but now i just use notches for consistency

You can't even tell on typos controllers that they are botched. Battle beaver adjusts the stick box

Kadano does the same, mine looks perfectly normal, and it is. Some factory GCC are like that

you don't need an actual physical notch, you just need the stock box calibrated so it happens naturally

i feel like a lot of people confuse notch calibration with a giant "anchor hole" for mechanical aid

if you file the notches correctly you really can't discern it from a normal controller at a glance.
