Oh and just fyi, if you allow smashbox, then lets just say my dpad is going to do a lot more than just taunting.

How do you get d-pad SDI without making it duplicate an analog stick function?
see, the smashbox in this case does add more buttons (not just 4 buttons like traditional digital input controllers)

imo it's not about analog vs digital. On a GC controller there is only one way to input tilt-up. Same on Smashbox, which is fine

you could rewire the pwb/wiring to allow for this
