Oh and just fyi, if you allow smashbox, then lets just say my dpad is going to do a lot more than just taunting.

I think that adding extra buttons that aren't on the GC controller (in your example another analog stick input) is over the line
this wouldnt do that, itd just map digital inputs, just like the smashbox

You're talking about duplicating functionality though, where you get the best of both worlds. Box has no analog.

the dpad buttons don't input anything alone, they modify the angle/depth when used with the 4 directional buttons
