I'm really sick of viewers saying D1 doesn't have extensive Melee knowledge just because it's not his style to break down every frame. Stop
that doesnt mean he's a good analyst though, I think he fits far better into a commentator role.

people with no high level exp and who aren't statiscians (nahaz/tafo etc) or host's (redeye) generally don't fit analyst desks.

D1 is actually insanely good at the game though. He fumbled at the analyst desk because it was new & Blur was taking the notes

i don't think anyone is saying that because of the sub par analyst desk this time, but its just true in general.
