this tweet makes it so obvious how privileged and expectant some top Melee players are compared to csgo/sc2/etc players.
I wonder how long it's gonna be until tournaments let us qualify to skip pools. It's gonna be necessary to prevent burnout imo.

Part of being a top player is proving it. If you're not good enough to prevent getting burnt out, you're not a top player.

I feel like top players deserve seeding, but cutting out a chunk of tournament play so they can sleep in or w/e is simply unfair
