I'll never understand why players feel the need to "look up" to top players. You can look up to their Smash skills, but personality-wise they're your average nerd. I can understand it if you're a child but some of you should realize this fast.

Celebrity culture is not necessarily bad if it allows for storylines to be created and for people to get even more invested into whatever sport or game they watch. I think it's one of the things that allowed competitive Smash to be as enduring as it is compared to other FG's. 1/2

I agree but something I haven't seen mentioned is that For example, Leffen, you have been pretty advocate about BLM and this situatuon. Many ppl can easily see that you're using your large influence and fanbase to help speak out and spread the message, and look up to you for that
