Given the recent emergence of the #UnbanCaptainZack hashtag, we want to address the ban with a little more detail.
Specifically, the 5-year ban takes into account information, dynamics, and patterns of behavior that cannot be shared with the public.
the amount of people who think they DESERVE to know the specific details is insane, despite not being a TO, personally involved or affected in any way outside of not seeing a player they like attending a tournament.
this is more of a call for justice. would you say the same thing about people marching rn and demanding answers from the authorities despite not being personally affected? obviously this is a much more trivial situation than that, but i believe it's in the same spirit

i dont think they should give any personal information at ALL. thatd be insane. i just think prefacing this tweet with "we want to address the ban with a little more detail" was kindaaa strange considering they just... didnt. the problem was with that part of the tweet, really
I mean, they did give more detail, they just didn't give away specific or identifying information. There were obviously more serious concerns than just match fixing. Another reply said that they didn't want to give specifics without zack's consent, and Zack didn't give consent
To be fair, the CoC does not share resolutions or any kind of explanation aside from tweets on why people are being banned if you are not a signatory. I'm a TO from Ally's region and I have him banned from my Ultimate tournaments and I mostly agree with the ban [1/]

The only thing is that this group of people banded together to create rules for the community and expect TOs to follow their decision. They don't share members and they don't share evidence. They are a grassroots organization with no credentials.
They make decisions without sharing any reasoning, any evidence that supports their decision, and believe that should be enough. Zack's personal business should stay personal and the SSBConductPanel shouldn't have influence on decisions like this (shouldn't exist at all honestly)
