I think the funniest thing about the talent vs hard work debate is how little people have read and looked into the subject, yet they're 100% certain one way. Biggest misconception imo is that the only thing people think is "talent" is learning things quickly in the beginning.
because its an overly simplistic way to look at it, and its honestly closer to an idiotic excuse than the truth.
everybody has a friend that falls under that rule tho my buddy plays Tekken rarely, doesn't know any combos, but he goes 40/60 with me because he has a better grasp on mix ups and adaptation. I've played Tekken 200x more than him and I'm purple rank on 3 chars.

So being more intelligent doesn’t crossover into being talented? Makes me question what IS talent. Is it any edge biologically? Can someone have talent in learning efficiently? Either way I think talent exists, to what extent it plays a role is impossible to say.
