This was the only chance I was ever going to get of entering EVO for smash ultimate. So I disagree. I cant fly countries every year for evo and I was so hyped to take part. So I do disagree.

Instead of waiting for inputs to be received from other players before simulating the next frame, It predicts the inputs they will send and simulates it without delay using that prediction. And if it’s wrong it rolls back to the correct state

Yeah, nah. The FGC has been pushing for better netcode for some time now. Having the largest FG event refuse to hold an open tournament with these games and opting for ones with actual good netcode is probably the best way to get the message out to the devs.
