Alright thanks for the reply. The monitor I'm using is the same ones they rented out to goml, big house, etc so I assumed it'd be fine. When I play on 8 buffer or higher online I miss like 2/3rds of fox short hops, pivots become inconsistent and hard to L-cancel on weird moves
That shouldn't happen unless something is wrong with ur net or computer setup
Maybe it's my computer setup? I'm trying out the way you recommended rn solo and it feels a little better compared to playing an opponent but still a bit off, while at 8 buffer
Make sure your monitor has 144hz enabled in Windows settings. Have V-SYNC off. If you have an Nvidia GPU you can enabled Low Latency ULTRA mode in Nvidia control panel. Play in full screen mode. That all being said, I do this and still prefer 6 buffer over 8 buffer.
