Sheik is definitely, 100% at least high tier. Probably on the bottom half though but yeah the more I play her the more convinced I am

As for tournament results, VoiD has already proven her to be very effective given the right matchups
personally i think watching void play sheik is the clear example of why shes not good - a top player who has thousands of hours put into sheik, and who was top with her in 4, still can't consistently beat people who have practically 0 matchup experience. No offense meant.

thats just why I think the character is weaker than most. I feel like rosalina with dabuz is in a similar spot - tons of exp playing the char, vs no exp against it, and its clear how much better rosalina works in this usecase even tho shes clearly not high tier imo.

and furthermore, the "in the right matchups" is the key problem here - you are straight up relying on luck if you only have 3-10 matchups that are "right" and then you enter a game with 76 chars where your opponent can CP/blind pick you.
