Disagree, love mid-set coaching as long as it’s kept short (this event had a 1 minute cap). I understand as a player it’s different, but as a spectator I love seeing that short rest/coaching session between games; who do the players trust for advice? Its very different from boxing where they also serve to check up and make sure they don't injure themselves. The big problem is simply unfairness. Most players don't have a dedicated coach (I do) so it literally becomes 2v1. That far outweighs any spectator value.

Not getting a coach when it is an option available to you isnt unfair it's called being unprepared.

again, in the case where that is possible, fair enough. For people who travel out of region though that is very unlikely, most players cant take themselves to many majors, let alone someone just for coaching. Once you add language barriers etc...
