Yeah, but I expect the neutral to slow down a bit when AA combos always deal 50% and people punish random roll/run better. Maybe it won't, but I think the way run works/AA damage/how strong fireballs are will slow things down a bit.
The thing is imo, that unlike most footsie games you can actually get hard knockdown from a single whiff punish. Even full screen projectiles lead to pressure for many, esp metera/ferry Maybe tho, definitely down to wait and see but I played it vs good players and rounds go FAST

Metera and Ferry have some of the most mobility options too, and they are relatively defensive in the neutral until they get a hit. Lots of the other characters are much slower/grounded as well.
