again, her options just work on everyone. So she can still manage her bad matchups, even rush down. Yeah, she'll have to read a little bit harder but she still has options for everyone. She doesn't get invalidated by anyone.
honestly I don't even know how you can say shit like this. First off half her moves are drastically worse against short characters, and she has terrible landing&recovery regardless of how good you think her advantage state is. its WAY too early to say that she has no awful MUs

I didn't say she doesn't have bad match ups. I just said that a lot of the stuff she does just works because of her range so she can't be invalidated in neutral like most slow characters. And yes her disadvantage can be bad but that doesn't auto make her bad.

most slow characters can't be invalidated in neutral either, they just have worse risk reward and can't pick and choose their battles. the same applies to byleth.

counters for example make your fsmash ledgetrap WAY worse, and she doesn't have many other scary options to trap with. (even the fsmash trap without counter isnt that isn't even that good at high level or unique, charizard has the same one but better since it kills on rolls)

she doesn't have a single move thats safe on shield outside of spaced fair and bair, and all ground options are also very unsafe unless max spaces and even then lose to parry or spotdodge cancel.

"its WAY too early to say that she has no awful MUs" I'm no smash player, but if we use this logic how can u determine if this char is mid or as you said, can play well vs at least one top tier? IDK sounds like the argument is used to support a bias rather than make a good point
