The Smash devs DEFINITELY care about their players, they just see the game as more than a competitive fighter
The biggest takeaway from whether you like Byleth or not is that there will be SIX more DLC characters, releasing all the way until end of 2021. That means we will have at LEAST 2 more years of completely unplayable online :(

Honestly the smash community inclusing its leaders are toxic as hell. Everyone should simply be grateful that a game like ultimate exists.

nahhhhhh. the biggest takeaway was learning to count up to 31 in one hand.

Its pretty crazy how nintendo doesn't take smash seriously. One of the most popular fighting games around and they can't even host proper servers. I would pay monthly for dedicated smash servers.

No fighting game uses dedicated servers, even games with good netcode like killer instinct or mortal kombat 11. Only hope is for the to improve on the already bad delay based netcode
