Smashers always complain about their game, 64 might be an exception but even Melee doesn't escape this w/ all the puff hate at times Brawl S4 And now Ult We all know they have flaws yet we still play them cause they're just that much fun. I think we should value that a bit more

I think giving criticism is fine! Heck I'm not shy from doing it either and have tweeted about stuff that annoys me all the time But I've never called Ult, Smash 4 or Brawl straight up bad because they were still games I very much loved playing

Maybe my way of thinking is just too simple minded. In my eyes a game you play nearly every day and enjoy playing that much can't truly be considered "bad" That doesn't mean that I can't acknowledge that they have their flaws ofcourse. There's always room for improvement

I think you're not factoring in the community factor (people who play a game because their friends do etc) or the job factor (get paid playing X) or the general brand loyalty (i don't wanna try new things) - these things can have you truly hate a game and still play it

This is specifically about people that play the game a lot. The job factor is a fair point since those people fall within that category But I don't think the ppl that only play because of their friends actually play that often. I know plenty of people like these and to them...
