It's really hard to not take criticism of the PGR algorithm personally since, well, it's literally my work. Start to finish. It's probably not healthy, but I read everything everyone says about it. I try to make improvements every season. I hope A51 makes sense once it's all out

Thanks, I think? For what it's worth we already decided before this season was over that EU events are going to have lower requirements for making PGR next season.

Too little too late at this point imo. There's 1 pgr player so you can't get any significant wins anyway.

Significant wins are based on the current season, not the previous season. Beating Myran in July was beating an Area 51 player, people just didn't know it yet.

I personally hate that system as well, since it basically makes it rng if you got good wins or not according to the PGR, despite getting good placements your #1 seeded opponent might just not be able to travel much after that point and then it doesn't count? Lmao

Is it really RNG if its based on recent placements though? Like maybe youd be unsure if you beat the number 25 or the number 27 but its pretty easy to tell if a player has enough results to be PGRd.
