People have no idea how good your video is before clicking on it, so it sadly puts a lot of responsibility on your title and thumbnail

I’ve never faulted people for using click bait. If it works it works and I wonder if YouTube could do anything to nerf it. There are obviously different levels of click bait with varying levels of scumminess

Unfortunately thats just the climate of people scrolling :/ they see pretty picture they click n watch or skip through vid On the contrary high effort vids prob get more loyal fanbase and the like so, ofc both have their merits
