I genuinely don't agree that Tekken is way harder. Definitely harder to learn initially but the execution and gameplay isn't really any harder for 99% of chars, real difficulty is just in knowledge of frame data and moves.
Well to me I'm speaking about the majority of the characters. I'm well aware there's way more demanding characters but the ones who actually reward the extra time put into them vs picking an easier top tier is in the far minority.
Judging "hardness" by execution is meaningless. If the difficulty can literally be bypassed by an input macro it's a pretty shallow difficulty. The gameplay is the application if the knowledge and decision making. The knowledge dictates the decision making.
I can tell you exactly how to beat my character to the T and you would still look like you're struggling I could show you how to sidestep properly and you would still die from trying to do it Tekken's more about executing a gameplan than knowledge and frames
This applies until you enter high level Tekken. Then it's much more about movement, proper spacing, whiff punishment etc.
Simply learning movement is difficult enough, also you're maining Kazumi.... one of the easiest characters to pick up along with Paul. When you get the flow of the game it BASICALLY turns into a chess match of "is it gonna be a mid or low" It gets intense, you'll see.
y'know 1% of 40 is 0.4 of a character? you have KBD, dash block and thats for every char. not to mention just frames most characters have at least one. dont forget about crouch cancelling as well. "TeKkEn DoEsN't HaVe ExEcUtIoN"
