First i'm really surprised that the footstool discovery is making so much noises only now when Captain L found it few months ago already. Second i think its a good tool but it still puts you above your opponent, its not a neutral reset it will have less impact than it looks like

it gives you full momentum control, its definitely going to be neutral reset in many cases, or at least you will not be above them with no DJ which is FAR worse. I think you overestimate how high you go/how long it takes before you can fastfall, see my other tweet.

I just watch it again and it puts you really high and can reset neutral for free sometimes its true. BUT Most of the footstools i saw where when the opponent use a aerial or a smash really late. If you attacked instead of jump you would touch him first most of the time

anyways i think we need to try this in real games and not just in training mode to judge if its "game changing" or not I personnaly think it will be just a good mixup like an other, it just add more options to disadvantage wich is good. Time will tell us the answer

personally I think its boring that it makes yet another disadvantage stage inconsistent, just like 2 framing with edgeguarding. its also not very skillful to just mash jump IMO and makes double jumping away too good out of juggles imo.

Well i can't find any skillful options in disadvantages, there might be few ones but its mainly just a matter of decision making, using the right option at the right moment
