when FGC players try ultimate, this really doesn't happen much at all. It's sadly a real problem that randoms in the "FGC" are spiteful towards newcomers, especically smashers. Thankfully top players like urself arent at all like that, which I know, but a lot of smashers I talk to are convinced thag the fgc still hates them cuz of online stuff and it prevents them from trying it.

Through my 18 years of playing, understanding that most online people are nobodies saved my life. People have told me they were scared to go to events and I’ve always told them no matter what anyone says online, at events, its 1000% different. Keyboard warriors stay home.
