I doubt Tekken is going to suit you, and I love Tekken. Legacy skill is so relevant that you'll be spending at least the first year or two playing catch-up, despite how good you are at fighting games already. You strike me as someone who'd want results within months of playing.

you can defs get results within months of tekken. at least, good enough to enjoy yourself and see the appeals of the game. if u meant results as in placing high at nationals tho then 1/2 years is probably right, but the man has already learned a hard ass game before

It takes time for it to click I think. When it does click you'll make people look silly in the game lol. It's fun! Biggest aspect for me is taking advantage of the 3d plane. Sidestepping is key to beating ALOT of people especially in the beginning stages.
