its why people love MVC2, Melee, Third strike, KOF13 etc. Even if a game is techinically balanced, at top level there will always be characters that are more popular than others. Problem with ult is that gimmicks are the strongest and most toxic option.

If someone would quit ultimate because of a few boring match ups then they really didn't like it in the first place. These people would be saying the same thing about fighting Marth, Sheik, or Peach in Melee since it isn't as fun.

I'm quitting/taking a competitive break from Ultimate because of all of these toxic matchups and I don't quit melee because of cc dsmash. You can absolutely hate some of the MUs in ult but like some others considering they don't play similar at all.

You dont play neutral in a conventional sense vs bayo. You don't combo or juggle, you don't ledgetrap or edgeguard her. You don't get edgeguarded ledgetrapped or comboed like any other char either. Same thing with Hero. Its no different than liking melee and disliking mario party
