just getting thrown off stage and literally having 0 options in most scenarios makes me wanna rip my hair out, and playing optimal or perfect yl is so fucking hard execution wise its frustrating
No offense meant but from playing you and other smash 4 players you guys are really bad at recovering unpredictably and abusing ults broken recoveries because you're uses to s4 always getting you in for free. YL has a "worse" recovery but most can not consistently edgeguard him.
In friendlies when I taught mr r how to recover hed make it back like 39/40 times where he wasn't sent into the blastzone (from like 50/50 before). He just panicked in tournament and I knew what his habits were going to default to. Definitely some chars that are better at it tho
And I agree that YL is too much work for the reward, that's why I quit him. I just don't think his recovery requiring skill is a bad thing. It's the rest of ult thats broken and makes you believe you should always get in for free haha :D
