dthrow to FJ nair/uair combos for a while even on DI away. fastest way to escape it is DI away tho, but that makes Uthrow combo longer (also combos regardless of DI on low %) Even when it doesnt combo because of uairs/nairs etc low lag you can often cover most options easily

dthrow into FJ nair does 40% and puts them offstage uthrow uair charge up b does 34% and puts them above you fthrow and bthrow do 13% (without pummels) and puts you offstage so you really cant eat throws vs him since his ledgetrapping might be the best in the entire game

does the grab stuff work at ~50-80%? my skepticism is for his mid% game, but if throw is a legit threat then he's obv way scarier if not, if he can consistently convert to dunk/knuckle at corner then it's fine since throws put you there i follow your logic, just gotta see it

well no he doesnt have throw combos at 50-80, and basically no one with decent damage output or early killing option has it either (look at a tier list, most chars lose their combo throw at 30) combos in general are super rare at mid % in ult because of balloon knockback -

the good thing about terry is that he actually has tons of combos from mid%, and even kill confirms! Nair->nair burn nuckle, nair to dair, ftilt to back b/super, uair up b, jab jab shoryu, dtilt jab jab shoryu, spotdodge utilt uair etc He gets past mid % far easier than the avg

dont get me wrong he has problems (mainly air mobility) but he is honestly strong at the exact things you think hes weak at haha
