All I'm really getting from the new GG is that FG developers still don't know how the fuck to do marketing. Excited to see more about the game but it's hard to get excited for anything before they ACTUALLY tell us about the real shit, like netcode and if that god damn UI is final

Yes that is the character select screen. Hopefully it's all placeholder but we really shouldn't have to hope. There's also a real chance its real sadly after BBTAGs UI

They said on stream that they are super open to feedback after next week's playtest at Arc Revo, which is cool. Still too early to tell IMO, but it's pretty.

They are specifically asking for feedback atm. I wouldn't call this "marketing" as much as it seems to be a tease and gauge for community reception. It especially a good sign to see the US and JP streams crossed for the Q&A. Just keep being vocal and direct. They want to listen.

It is marketing lmao what do you mean, theyre doing char reveals and everything. The smart move would be to have pro players hired and playtesting it behind the scenes, so once the game play reveals comes out its reception is far better than this

Did you even bother to listen before forming your opinion? Most things about the game are not final, the UI especially lol. This was said explicitly on multiple occasions. We're lucky to be looking at this game this early because they want us to like it.
