And obv people forget if you go to a tournament and then DQ. The whole system is fucked honestly, the panelists have always had extremely varied (sometimes flawed) values so its why Ive never cared about any community decided ranking tbh.
I just hope its not something that catches on and spreads because the system rewards it. Long term the people who take the chances they can to do well despite risking a "bad loss" will (hopefully) be rewarded.

I think we're capable of brainstorming a solution that rewards activity and punishes dq's. We could create a set of guidelines for panelists to reduce variance maybe?

Personally, I think the system should be simple. An L is an L and a W is a W. Maybe for a DQ its different, but if someone is just hung over or playing secondaries it seems wrong to make the game "half-way" count because X top player was fuckin around at a PGR event.
