I follow the principles from this video to this day and I can still ledge trap pretty well players like Samsora or Leo whenever we played... I think you overthink it dude, it's not rocket science and it's almost the same thing from Smash 4

I feel like you are amazing at ledge trapping still, I just don't think the video conveyed all your info you got stored! Trust me to me its very very different from anything in other fgs or melee haha
