Like it's hilarious how anyone can think that the avg ult top players is hard working cuz they play elite smash with Hero the entire week before a super major

I feel like if you got a closer look at other esports youd understand. Its hard to say but it really doesnt seem like you understand just how much more most people practice in other scenes.
Like playing with leo 2-4 sessions a week is great for you compared to other ult players but its literally a vacation for others

How much do you think people should be practicing the game? I know everyone has their preferences but is there a certain amount you think people should be doing? I dont have a set amount, but when i do practice its for hours

8 hours a day in game, offline vs other top players. at least 6 days a week. 1 hour to 2 hours per day of analysis and match review. This is low estimate tbh but consistency and focus matters more than pure hours

Do you think part of that is because you just get waaaay more money in tier 1s so there’s more incentive to be a super tryhard? Love of the game is all well and good but that money probably makes a huge difference for motivating a lot of ppl

Not necessarily. Many games with lower payout than ult have far more hard work. People grind super hard for speedruns for 0 dollars.
