It's a trade-off You make singles Sat+Sun only & top players have a much more grueling schedule. But maybe locals who otherwise couldn't go due to work can now attend Top player voices are the loudest but I wonder: was it worth it? Curious what other attendees think

Right, but that would mean either 1) having Melee & Ult top 8s at the same time 2) starting Sunday at 10/11 AM by doing top 64/32 matches (and streaming very little of it until the top 8s) I prefer just spreading things across 3 days personally but I get how they landed here

starting at 11 is fine since theyre starting at noon now anyway, and the pools start at 10am on sat anyway the amount of streamed matches doesnt change, they run the same time now as well..

Thats why we always leave a top 24 or top 32 in Smash Factor for Sunday we feel it gets too late on Saturday to expect a good performance from competitors. We start pools around 11 a.m. and our last singles matches on saturday ends at 10:00 p.m.

it hurts stream income but what we do is to put less demanding event like crews Mexico vs the World at the end of saturday to finish stream at 11:00 p.m. with something good without sacrificing players rest
