legit the only tournaments that have done this are summits and the mango LOL every other tournament this year has missed like 2-3 of these basic ass things
I'm sure someone will be like "oh ya but thats because ur entering two games" we have had two games or more since brawl, that is not an excuse to not have this figured out yet.
Ultimately I think this boils down to so many events wanting to do championship Sunday but also want to be 2-3 day events, I don’t really think this model works as well as people seem to think it does and the “prestige” of a dedicated top 8 day feels mostly lost on me
and also not run anything but teams and open bracket crews on friday
At the absolute BARE minimum tournaments really need to start accounting for players to get 8 hours of sleep & enough times to eat. Players get into these bad situations where they don’t get enough sleep + don’t eat enough and it’ll start taking a toll on their bodies.
You obviously just aren't beating your opponents fast enough. Games lasting more than a minute? Lol couldn't be me 
I think past tournaments may not have dealt with as many players that play multiple games as they do now with melee and ultimate. Not giving shine an excuse or anything though. Getting top player feedback before finalizing the schedule could have avoided this.
