Good on South Australia for banning Hero. I wish more would follow suit although I doubt it. Id rather play with items and final smashes than vs Hero. Hes clearly not design for competitive play and anyone decent at smash should be able to see that regardless of your ban opinion

Crit RNG is silly but not worse than G&W 9 except G&W can combo into it. All down-b RNG is accompanied by a animation that takes 20 frames before it can be used (menu pull) + the move animation + it's consistently a combo of projectile, buff, utility + something else

Language barrier is simple, it should always be in the language of the host country. It's easier than it sounds to just google what each spell looks like in the country your visiting to prepare. Hocus Pocus is only a 20% chance of being a positive effect, about 40% for negative

Sheik needles are also reactable in melee if you dont count the fact that you can cancel them. You cant react to thwacks startup itself reliably while also reacting to other options.

Yeah you're right, you can't react to Sheik needles when they mix it up if you're not expecting needles, and you can't react to Thwack if they mix it up if you're not expecting the Thwack. But do I need to explain to you why it's important to prioritize what you're reacting to?
