Young Link, Falcon, Ice Cimbers, Peach, Shotos, Shulk, Link, Joker, and maybe Sheik are all pretty nuanced characters with a lot of depth, large learning curves, and high skill-ceilings.
Regardless of your opinion on it, many "deep" chars have had a top player outperform the character loyalist. No offense but I have no doubt in my mind that if Marss played falcon fulltime he would outperform you as well. PT is also imo the deepest char and look at what tweek did.

I don't issue with that lol. He followed the statement with saying Tweek's new PT is better than people who have been using PT since day 1. It's still supporting the point that character depth isn't very deep at all when (insert top 5) player can be better than you in a month.
Marrs plays falcon so hyper aggro and sub optimal that it would take a hard rework to learn his tricks. While fatality plays him optimally to a fault. They both represent 2 extremes of falcon play and comparing their performances with falcon would be pointless

That's a harsh thing to say. Marss and Fatality had comparable results in Smash 4. Falcon is just a mess in Ult. And we've seen Marss's Falcon in tourney what, like twice? You can't conclude anything from that.
To be fair, Marss' Falcon did do pretty decently against leo at CEO, and pretty much all of it was because of fundamentals that Marss has. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be true if Marss changed mains. But who knows rn?
