Don't touch shield. Get under him and Nair with ivy/uair with Squirtle. It can stuff options but don't get predictable or you eat a down air. Ff nairdodge is important to get through Nair and uair juggles.

DO NOT try to edge guard him. It is not worth it. His up b straight up will beat your edge guard move unless it’s a well spaced ivy dair. Watch out when you’re trying to touch his shield because Up b oos is rly fast and a combo tool.

Up OOS is busted Incredible hard to edge guard due to invul on up b Hammer hitboxes bury on d smash Dair is two hits for parry, when it hits your shield and when it hits the ground Be prepped for neutral b edge guard, he can slightly extend the length of the moves

He cant approach for shit Fair bomb immediately loses to a hitbox interaction Drop zone bair is fairly easy to tech Primarily focus on your grab bnbs, up b will just break combos (Frame 3 iirc) In general G&W is a really linear character. Set play and not much else
