ok how many people think the ex smash 4 players will be saying the same things about ultimate in a couple years

Smash 4 is gonna be the only one in the series. Brawl players still love Brawl, Melee players still love Melee, it’s only Smash 4 players that fucking hate Smash 4.
Most people hated brawl when 4 was still new. Myself and others got hate for saying brawl was better

People hated brawl cos melee doco + community at the time made people think they had to hate Brawl. Most good brawl vets preferred it over smash 4 even from the get go.

I feel like with Sm4sh VS Brawl, I could see some people liking Sm4sh more. With Brawl VS Melee, some people would prefer Brawl, some people with prefer Melee. I’m pretty with Ultimate VS Sm4sh, MOST people would pick Ultimate

Honestly nah. Most people u talked to preferred Brawl as a package at least. I think 2-3 years in people had realized how much of a slog S4 was and were looking for something else, but vocalized that by just not playing the game anymore.

I only saw people praising Brawl before Ultimate came out. That’s because most people who grew up with Brawl are now adults and they can talk about it now. It’s why you see more and more people talk about how much they grew up with the GameCube.
