ok how many people think the ex smash 4 players will be saying the same things about ultimate in a couple years

Like yeah it seems good now, but imagine if in smash 6 the buffer is toggleable and they do basic quality of life things such as improve the online, not make you repick your characters after every match and delete Hero from the roster.

I think the reason why so many ex-s4 players say these things is because Ult is a straight up improvement of S4 instead of a different experience. The jump isn't the same as Melee -> Brawl or Brawl -> S4, it's not a different experience it's just straight up better

"what if they made a better game?" yeah i mean, its a good thing we have a choice LOL. However, if it's just smash ult, but better, i imagine people will still not be as harsh on ult as they are on smash 4.

I doubt they can even get all the characters again. So when you think about they really just have this game to get it right before we lose characters again. So I hope they keep supporting the game long past the fighter's pass and make the qol things that should've been in day 1.
