This is what happened with MK for example - by the time he was banned half the player base already played him. Real talk, theres no arguments you can use against items that you cant use against heros rng.
well theres bad effects from rng - theres bad items Just rush him down - just dont let them get the final smash ball Yet we never "needed to test" items or final smash meter in ult because its obviously not ment for competitive play. Just like Hero.

The diference is that items and FS meter are options that you can turn off an on in the rules menu while hero is a character that can't be turn off

You can't turn off certain stages either but we only use 10% of them in tournament.

How are items and final smash meter even remotely comparable competitively to Hero? The former are game rules, the other are character specific issues. Is far easier to identify what rules are more appropiate for comp play than it is to declare that a character deserves a ban.

While that is true Hero is worse then items. Fighting hero I feel like I'm fighting someone with items on but only Hero can pick them up.

I actually think Hero might be a social experiment to see just how insane people’s mental gymnastics can get when defending poor game design. It’s going to be really fun from an outside perspective. I’m pretty excited honestly.
