This might make them a worse tournament character since its common to be playing off with one pkmn, but it will also require the opponent to actually know how to fight zard. Some matchups that were hard are easier and some that were easy before are now even. Hmmm
Also hero is fucking toxic and he has no place in a competitive setting. And hes pretty damn good. No RNG hero is midish, ok rng is high, good rng is top tier and great rng is SSS+++ tier.

He shouldn't be part of a tournament setting if he's bad either. RNG is not competitive.
Hero is making other competitors rage & forfeit already in tournament. I want Hero in the tournament setting a little longer, its so fun to watch people rage.
Hero isn’t toxic and is fine in the competitive community. He isn’t super op because he has good specials, he has terrible normals and terrible oos, and crits are nowhere near consistent enough to make him op in their own right. Hero is extremely new, learn how to fight him.
sadly no one will listen to you until a top 5 player gets upset by a fucking giant hero who got crit fmash. then they'll act like they're the savior of competitive smash.
It's not the RNG for me that's a problem (Hocus Pocus is too unreliable and reminds me of Judge, although Magic Burst and the buffs are way too good). But Side B and Neutral B are way too strong. Side B having super armor and a large hitbox that kills at 40% is just dumb.
That said, Hero's frame data is pretty bad. I don't think its necessarily that he's broken like Bayo and Meta Knight were back in Brawl and Smash 4, just that RNG isn't inherently competitive (Pokemon is the exception, not the rule)
