I wish they would also stop falling back on “IF THE GAME IS SO EASY AND DUMB WHY DON’T YOU BE TOP 5 WORLDWIDE”. Maybe because you and most of the Melee pros have legitimate complaints and gripes about the game, and don’t find it satisfying to play competitively as it is.

He actually played melee competitively

Besides, Ultimate can get better. Highlighting the things that are flawed may help if Nintendo finally decides to listen to the players (lmao). Melee does so much things better and on the first try, no updates lol.

But it also does a bunch worse, and some things that define melee are kind of just glitches lol

Things I like about Ultimate: 1) Being able to cancel dash into any move/ change directions quickly on the ground while running 2) Reverse Aerial Rush 3) Pace of Game 4)Character Balance 5)Two air dodges 6) Drag down Multi Hit combos/Atk Cancel 7) Sliding tilts 8) Roster

People don’t understand what criticism is. You can say bad things about something but still like it. Melee isn’t something I have a lot of experience in besides casual play. Has many strengths for sure but also has flaws. Characters like my boy Roy are practically useless :(

I can also see where ESAM is coming from though. I bet there are a lot of people who actually do want Ult to be Melee 2.0 Of course most of the people who just want Ult to adopt SOME of the things that Melee has get lobbed into that group sadly It’s a good thing they discussed.
