I understand what you're saying, but relative to the game at it's current state I'm unsure if I feel the same way. Being rewarded with arsen for winning and losing is a lot and the last character who had something similar had it toned down by a lot. The developers will decide

If it where broken itself anyone would be using it just as in past smash games I think. However he does have very nasty power with The persona and that's difficult to deal, but not imposible.
